Rukmini, a beautiful and graceful princess, was an incarnation of Lakshmi. She loved Krishna and vowed to marry him. However, her brother had other plans for her. As she did not want to marry anyone else, she arranged for Krishna to kidnap her. A fierce battle occurred, after which her brother vowed to kill Krishna. In the meantime, Krishna married Rukmini with blessings from both sets of parents.

A powerful king had a daughter, Revati, who was married to Kamsa. This king decided to kill Krishna. In a massive war, Krishna destroyed his army, but spared the king’s life. As a result, more battles ensued, eventu. Later, Krishna, along with his brother Balarama, met Revati and her father. Balarama was mesmerized by Revati’s beauty, and married her and had children.

Krishna studied the scriptures and was trained as a warrior. The Gopis (cowherd maidens) were filled with devotion to him. Krishna inquired about his cousins, the Pandavas. Their King wanted his sons, the Kauravas, to inherit the throne. However, the throne belonged to the Pandavas, the sons of Pandu, Dhritarashtra’s brother. Thus the Mahabharata, the story of the great war, begins. Meanwhile, the father of Kamsa’s wife decided to kill Krishna.

Kamsa relentlessly sent more demons to kill Krishna, but all of them were killed. A panicked Kamsa was desperate and agitated. He invited Krishna and Balarama to a wrestling tournament. They accepted and many events transpired. In the end, Krishna killed Kamsa and rushed to the dungeon to free his parents. His father, the rightful king, was reinstated into power.
